Cello has been part of my life since fourth grade, although I didn’t touch it for decades during the intervening years. I went back to it seriously…I mean, I started lessons again… a few years ago. Slowly, slowly, my technique improves. Oh, if I’d only stuck with it in my childhood, what wonders I might be playing now. Still, I have great fun playing chamber music with friends.  I travel a long way to meet with the Vancouver Cello Club monthly, and in the summertime, other cellists come to Hornby Island for the annual Cell-O-Thon in July. I also play with recorder groups and guitarists.  And on my own, too, of course. And sometimes, at sunset for a wedding!!
